Scalpers prompt Yusuf Islam to cancel New York show

Yusuf Islam, formerly Cat Stevens, has pulled the plug on part of his first North American tour in 35 years after becoming disgusted by greedy ticket scalpers. The Peace Train singer, formerly known as Cat Stevens, announced a string of rare live dates last week, but he has now decided to cancel his Big Apple show at the Beacon Theatre on 7 December and re-route the trek to Boston, Massachusetts.
