Indie rockers LOCAL NATIVES edged out rapper KENDRICK LAMAR to top a new poll of the hardest-working artists of 2013.

The group, which hails from Los Angeles, played a total of 188 shows throughout the year, traveling a total of almost 192,500 miles to get from gig to gig.

Lamar lost out by 17 concerts, racking up 171 live performances across 229,583 miles, and British band Alt-J landed in third place in the Songkick.com survey with 164 shows in 251,443 miles.

Others featured in the top 10 include Imagine Dragons, One Direction and Willie Nelson.
