Jason Aldean’s tour bus strikes, kills pedestrian

Country singer Jason Aldean was uninjured in an early morning crash that left a pedestrian dead.

According to TMZ.com, Aldean and the driver were the only two people on the bus when the crash occurred at about 1:30 a.m. in Indiana.

The bus driver was not at fault in the wreck and officials said the man, identified by Aldean in a tweet as Albert Kennedy, apparently walked into traffic.

Aldean posted a message on Twitter saying the man stepped in front of the tour bus and asked for his fans to keep the Kennedy family in their prayers.

“With a heavy heart, I’m sad to say that a man passed away last night after stepping out in front of my bus in Indiana. In all the years I’ve been touring and all the miles we’ve driven, nothing prepares you for something like this to happen. I’m praying for Albert Kennedy’s family and friends today and ask that you do the same.”
