‘Frozen’ is bigger than ‘Star Wars’ and ‘Jurassic Park’

LOS ANGELES (AP) — “Frozen” is now bigger than the first “Star Wars” and “Jurassic Park.”

“Frozen” has moved into the 13th spot on the all-time list with $1.32 billion worldwide. That’s $5 million more than “Star Wars” and $3 million more than “Jurassic Park.”

It only needs another $13 million to move ahead of “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” and $31 million to beat “Toy Story 3,” which would make it the highest-grossing animated movie in history.

It’s still way behind the number-one all-time movie, “Avatar,” which made $2.8 billion worldwide.
