This program is designed with you the parent in mind! Have a date night or enjoy a night on the town by yourself. See a movie or go out for dinner & shopping. While you are away your child learns new skills & has fun with us. They will prepare a nutritious meal, make a craft, play in the gyms – bounce house included & have a healthy snack. Your child makes their own nutritious meal with us each month, mac & cheese/January & spaghetti & meatballs/February. Participants learn how to prepare the meal using plastic utensils, preparing & cooking it in our kitchen. They learn all the necessary steps to preparing the meals including, cleaning vegetables, cooking meats or macaroni & making meatballs. Participants learn how to set a table & proper etiquette. Next we make a craft and/or play in the gyms bounce house included. At the end of the night a healthy snack is provided. You will be pleasantly surprised at the new skills your child learns, you may even get help in the kitchen from now on. Children must be 5+ years old. Preregistration required (minimum participants 10) call 248-6316, by the Tuesday prior to the 1st Friday Night program.
