Community Youth Concepts Presents: A Spotlight on Service

Thursday, September 24th 2015 - 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Iowa Hall of Pride
330 Park St

Community Youth Concepts presents Spotlight on Service, our inaugural annual fundraising event. This event will be a cornerstone of our ongoing effort to build financial support for programs that strengthen the foundations of our community. Our vision is to create an Iowa where all youth have access to high quality opportunities that prepare them for success in school, work and life. Our programs encourage community engagement, and develop youth who are well rounded, socially and emotionally healthy, and academically prepared to contribute to our great state.

Join us for cocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres and an interactive evening as we honor those who make a difference in the Des Moines community. Tickets available at:¬†https://www.eventbrite.com/e/cyc-presents-a-spotlight-on-service-tickets-17330143927

Celebrate safely with these fireworks tips

Since Independence Day falls during the work week, members of St. Richard Catholic Church celebrated the holiday on Sunday, June 30, 2013, with a picnic-style outing complete with fireworks that could be seen throughout the northeast Jackson, Miss. neighborhood.
